Deborah R. McMullen, PCC-S, LICDC, LSW
President


Deborah R. McMullen holds licensure in Ohio as an LSW, PCC-S and LICDC and has been in the field for over 35 years working in various agencies, settings and positions where she provided service to adults, children, adolescents, groups, couples and families.

“Ms. Deborah” as called by her clients, completed both her Master of Science in Education-Social Agency Counseling and Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Dayton, and Associate in Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from Sinclair Community College. She has worked as a case manager, social service worker, mental health and addictions therapist, supervisor for a children and youth behavioral health program, a Mental Health Consultant for HeadStart and coordinated the Junior Church Department and Children’s Choir at her church for many years. She has also worked as adjunct faculty at Sinclair Community College, a presenter/co-presenter at various mental health and child welfare conferences, a site supervisor for practicum and internship students as well as providing supervision for counselor trainees.

Professional interest and affiliation for “Ms Deborah” a facilitator for the Healthy U Chronic Disease and Diabetes Self-Management Program, a Member of NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) and ACA (American Counseling Association). A MORE EXCELLENT WAY, LLC is not only a business venture, but a life’s mission to be a teammate in cultivating solid families by growing healthy parents and training—not raising—productive children.

Glen Wilson, PMP
Director of Business Operations


Glen Wilson provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization. With a history of serving the needs of healthcare, manufacturing, energy, insurance, education and various other private and public sector clients as a Senior Consultant/Project Manager, Mr. Wilson has over 20 years of business operations experience particularly as related to Information Technology (IT).

Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Computer Systems. He is an active member of Project Management Institute (PMI) International and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He is also a certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance.

His leadership experience includes operations oversight and spans all project phases from pre-project sales support, strategic planning, project planning, project controls and execution to post-project evaluation. Mr. Wilson’s expertise encompasses application development, infrastructure deployments, hardware and software upgrades, and data center operations. His knowledge spans across PC, midrange, mainframe, client/server platforms and numerous programming languages as well as proficiency in several enterprise project scheduling and resource management tools. He is an accomplished leader with a track record of operations and delivery success.

Mr. Wilson is a faithful member of his church displaying leadership in his teaching/preaching—leading by example. His quality as a good leader is evident in his being a good follower, as he works in any capacity when asked and without question.



Loretta Lenord
Director of HR & Finance

Responsible, dependable and capable of multi-tasking describes our Director of HR and Finances.

As a dedicated and loyal professional, “Ms. Loretta”—as she is known by her coworkers and consumers—has worked over 47 years in the fields of management, marketing, retail and communications. She also has a resourceful background in public relations and community service and has earned the highest respect from those with whom she has engaged in a working relationship. Her passion and concern for health and wellness has lead her to become a
Co-Leader for the Healthy-U Workshop on Chronic Disease and Diabetes Self-Management Programs.

Ms. Loretta received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on Journalism, and has been certified in proofreading along with numerical skills training for data entry. She
serves as a finance committee member and works faithfully at her church wherever she is needed.

When asked to describe herself, Ms. Loretta responded, “I am a humble servant and there is no job too big or too small for me”.



Rose Wilson
Director of Marketing


With her born thirst for self-improvement, health awareness and social connection
, Rose excels in sharing information and promoting any cause in which she is involved. This has lead her to become a Co-Leader for the Healthy-U Workshop on Chronic Disease and Diabetes Self-Management Programs.

Rose attended Sinclair Community College and worked toward obtaining clerical certification. While there, she worked as a clerk in the Registrar’s Office and was later employed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base before working in the newsroom at Dayton Daily News. These positions, along with her service in church as an usher and in the parsonage, began her journey in customer service and networking.

Singing, crocheting, rubber stamping, sewing, decorating, floral arrangement and creative writing are hobbies Rose enjoys. But “I enjoy banquet decorating and design the most”.



Diane Jackson
Executive Secretary


Diane Jackson has worked over 30 years as a professionally trained executive and administrative secretary. Her training came from Sinclair Community College and her continued education allowed her to become proficient in Microsoft office programs of Excel, Publisher and Access. With these skills she has obtained past and current employment as a church secretary where she creates church bulletins/programs. The work at her home church as an usher, church announcement reader, and the dinner sale committee, as well as a poll worker in the Obama campaign and a local notary, has helped to build her skills in customer service. At AMEW Mrs. Jackson has helped create forms, documents and works closely with our graphic designer.
